Wolverine from Marvel might come soon, according to an artist. Right now, there’s a big superhero video game trend, which might be unexpected because Marvel movies were so popular in the 2010s.
Back then, we mostly had mobile games and not-so-good games linked to movies. Batman was pretty much the only hero with really good games. But now, Marvel is fixing this with games like Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more based on their best heroes.
Insomniac Games, known for their successful Spider-Man games, has been given the freedom to create another Marvel game, Marvel’s Wolverine. This game was announced in 2021 along with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. But it’s not clear how far along Marvel’s Wolverine is.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has recently been released to great acclaim. And Insomniac Games has started shifting Spider-Man developers to work on Marvel’s Wolverine. However, the game has been in production the entire time. We don’t know what to expect from the game or when it will be released. But a recent leak might provide some information.
Marvel’s Wolverine Release
A concept artist named Hung Nguy mentioned working on Marvel’s Wolverine and suggested a release date of 2024. Whether this information is accurate or not remains uncertain. It could be a mistake, completely wrong, or subject to delays, as delays are common in the gaming industry.
We’re excited for Insomniac Games to start making Marvel’s Wolverine now that they’ve wrapped up Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Some folks are chatting and trying to guess what extra stuff (DLC) might come for the Spider-Man game, but it’s not certain.
Apart from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, there haven’t been many big games announced that you can only play on PlayStation. Perhaps PlayStation will host an event soon to share what’s coming next, but we’re just speculating about that.
