New Star Wars Game is in Development with Unreal Engine 5

Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor are working together on a new Star Wars game. A recent job ad for a Senior Lighting Artist at Bit Reactor revealed that they are using Unreal Engine 5 for the game. This engine is known for its great graphics and gameplay features. It will make the Star Wars world in the game really impressive.

The job ad mentions the need for skill in using Lumen, a powerful lighting tool in Unreal Engine 5. This shows they want to create realistic and exciting game environments. Bit Reactor aims to use the latest technology to make their strategy game amazing.

Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor are teaming up, combining their experience. Respawn is known for the SW Jedi series and is using the same engine for the next Star Wars game. Bit Reactor, although newer, has experienced members from games like XCOM and Civilization.

This is Bit Reactor’s first big step into making games, and they aim to create a Star Wars strategy game that’s both true to the series and innovative.

The SW strategy game was announced in early 2022, alongside news of other Star Wars projects. Despite changes in partnerships with Lucasfilm Games, this game is still progressing well thanks to Respawn and Bit Reactor’s teamwork.

Many games are now using Unreal Engine 5 to improve strategy games’ quality and complexity. With this technology, Bit Reactor and Respawn can create a visually stunning and deep SW game that’s full of strategic challenges and storytelling.
