Netflix has shown the trailer for “Squid Game: The Challenge,” a new TV show based on the popular “Squid Game.” It’s set to come out on November 22.
The Cash Game
In this reality competition, 456 people will compete to win a massive cash prize of $4.56 million. They’ll play familiar games like Red Light, Green Light.
While it’s not as life-threatening as the original show, there will still be a lot of excitement and drama. The trailer starts with an announcement about the big cash prize, and contestants react with surprise and excitement.
The trailer shows contestants playing Red Light, Green Light, where they get eliminated if they move when the girl statue turns around. Some contestants hint at betrayals and rivalries, all because of the huge prize.
A Thrilling Spinoff
Although it won’t be as dangerous as the original show, “Squid Game: The Challenge” will have new twists and tests to see how contestants strategize and work together.
Some people had problems with the conditions on set during production. Contestants in the UK experienced freezing temperatures while filming in a balloon hangar, and a few needed medical help. Netflix said they followed safety rules.
“SG: The Challenge” will surely get a lot of attention and talk when it comes out in November because of how popular “Squid Game” became worldwide.
