Since then, Rockstar has received critical acclaim for Red Dead Redemption 2 and has also released remasters of some favorite titles.

GTA 6 Trailer Release Date

Recently, Rockstar confirmed that a trailer for GTA 6 would be released in December, causing a stir on the internet. Rockstar’s president, Sam Houser, stated on X (formerly Twitter):

“Next month (December) marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games. Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we’ve had the opportunity to create games we’re truly passionate about.”

“We’re incredibly thankful to all of you for joining us on this journey. Rockstar Games was founded in 1998 with the belief that video games could become as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment. We hope our efforts to be a part of that evolution have resulted in games you love.

We’re excited to announce that in early December, we’ll release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We anticipate many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you”.

Hyper-Realism in GTA 6

As we approach the release of the first GTA 6 trailer, fans are expressing their wishes for the next installment on social media. One of the most requested features on X is something that would make GTA VI hyper-realistic. Including mechanics like buying gas for your vehicle and repairing your weapon.

One user on X expressed curiosity about Rockstar’s approach to GTA 6, wondering if the game will lean towards hyper-realism like Red Dead Redemption 2. Be more arcade-style, or a combination of both. They emphasized a preference for full commitment to realism, including actions like filling up the gas tank and repairing weapons.

Another user added a specific detail they desire in GTA 6 – the ability to stop and fill up a vehicle at a gas station. They mentioned the idea of shooting the gas tank in story mode. Causing it to drain, and suggested having different mileage options for each car.

We’ll soon discover if these hyper-realistic features are present in GTA VI with the upcoming release of the new trailer.
