Many people are excited about the upcoming video game GTA 6. Its first official trailer broke several records quickly. However, there are rumors circulating on the internet. Some believe the game might include children, which would be a first for the series.
This speculation is based on a scene in the trailer at the 55-second mark. In that part, some children seem to be playing in the background. While the main focus is on the adult characters in the front. It’s important to note that this doesn’t confirm the presence of kids in the new game by Rockstar Games. But it has sparked speculation and rumors.
Now, let’s talk about the history of kids in Grand Theft Auto games. Before Rockstar Games released the official trailer for GTA 6, there were rumors about the inclusion of children in the game. Some people speculated that Lucia, the female protagonist, might have a child.
However, the GTA 6 trailer showed a couple of children playing in the background. Making people think the game might deviate from its usual approach and feature minor non-player characters (NPCs). While this could enhance the realism Rockstar Games aims for, it could also create unnecessary issues for the studio.

There’s a slim chance of kids being ordinary characters walking around Vice City in GTA 6. But they might be part of cutscenes in the game. The only time players have seen a child in the Grand Theft Auto series was in a cutscene in GTA Vice City Stories.
Fans could potentially see a few children through this approach. Some speculate that developers might include children in “safe spaces” where players can’t use GTA 6 cars or weapons to harm them. This method has been successfully used in several video games in the past.
