The Details

According to Variety, people are excited to see a sneak peek of Marvel Studios’ only 2024 movie, Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Disney might also show a glimpse of Pixar’s Inside Out 2 and another trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the next part of the Apes story from 20th Century Fox.

Paramount is ready to showcase trailers for several of its big movies during the Super Bowl, including the horror prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, music biopic Bob Marley: One Love, and John Krasinski’s family-friendly fantasy comedy IF.

They’ll also advertise Paramount+ offerings like Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff Knuckles, animated adventure The Tiger’s Apprentice, Sylvester Stallone’s reality show The Family Stallone, coming-of-age drama The Chi, and series based on Halo and M:I – Dead Reckoning.

Universal might feature Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of Wicked, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, action-thriller The Fall Guy, DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 4, and a semi-sequel Twisters led by Daisy Edgar-Jones.

Warner Bros., Sony, Netflix, and Amazon haven’t secured slots yet. This means viewers shouldn’t expect footage from Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two, Gil Kenan’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire follow-up, or Bad Boys 4 directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.

Super Bowl LVIII airs on Feb. 11 featuring AFC champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and NFC champions, the San Francisco 49ers. CBS, Paramount+, and NFL+ will broadcast the game, with an alternative Nickelodeon broadcast featuring SpongeBob Squarepants.
