Codename Red and Much  More

Yves Guillemot, the co-founder and CEO, said, “We’re getting ready for an exciting line-up for the fiscal year 2025. This includes the release of Star Wars Outlaws in 2024, which is a big deal for the video game industry. It’s the first time this popular franchise will be in an Open World game. We’re also working on Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, set in feudal Japan.” “We’re excited to show off what Ubisoft’s teams can do. They’re working hard to make sure these games meet gamers’ expectations.”

Ubisoft first talked about Codename Red in September 2022, when it shared plans for the future of the Assassin’s Creed games. It’s one of six new games in the series. Codename Red is made by the same team that created Odyssey, Ubisoft Quebec.

It’s starting what Ubisoft calls “period three” in the Assassin’s Creed series. The series has sold over 200 million copies since it started in 2007. “We’ll share the dates later on, but we’re making big changes in technology and gameplay. We’re fully embracing the next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X,” said Marc-Alexis Cote, the boss of the series, in an interview with VGC.

“We’re focusing on creating a world that changes as you move through it. Everything you carry will show wear and tear as you explore. We’re also enhancing the realism of the game by improving our animation systems.” “Red will have ongoing support for years to come, including expansions and other surprises that I won’t spoil.”
